Finally ….. joined the club

Out for my usual Tuesday evening 9 holes tonight. Second tee, par three, 140yds to the pin. Pitching wedge, pitched, spun…. And disappeared into the hole for 1!!!! Woohoo!!

Been so long since I started golf, honestly never thought I’d get one. A tad over excited tonight.

Like you I have had 4, seen 3 drop but one was blind, both myself & my PP had hit good shots so when we reached the green and could only see one ball about a foot from the hole we knew the other was likely to be in the hole, luckily it was me. Having had 4 and not seen one drop must in a way be very frustrating

Dunno about lofts tbh - I track all my distances through my Garmin watch. I have over 50 rounds on there now.

Averages seem a little out due to the type of shots I play. Regularly use 5 iron to punch out or bump round the greens. Likewise with 8 iron can be used for bump and run so averages get a bit thrown off there.
