Films

Watched Avatar way of water last night, visually it was stunning but it just didn’t have a good enough story, it was a ridiculous 3 hours long too. Only reason I didn’t fall asleep was I kept checking on the Arsenal game on my phone.😁

Nobody…. Been wanting to watch for a while, turned up on Netflix yesterday. Enjoyed it very much. The fight seems are more realistic than John Wick, ie people not jumping back up instantly to carry on after they’ve had their arm broken or face smashed. Bob Odenkirk is surprisingly good as the auditor but Christopher Lloyd as his dad kind of steals the show.
Watched it last night. Enjoyed it, but was amazed it had a 15 rating given the level of violence.

Went to see the Directors Cut of Aliens last night at the cinema (apparently it was Alien Day - it was a new one to me as well). Such a good film - ages since I've seen it. The wife wasn't so keen due to the number of moments she jumped in her seat next to me.
Also watched Everything Everywhere At Once at the weekend as well - jeez, that's 2 & 1/2 hours I won't get back. Can't say I really enjoyed it tbh.

Sad I missed seeing Aliens at the cinema again. One of my favourite films, one that if I see it on I have to watch.

Official Secrets on Netflix. Really enjoyed it. Story about the GCHQ whistleblower and the second gulf war. Quite insightful… I won’t say more for fear of spoilers.
