One Life
The Nick Winterton story.
I am old enough to remember the original That's Life story so no stranger to the story line.
Remarkable film about a remarkable man.
Serious tear jerker.
We watched this over the weekend. Like yourself, I remember the original That's Life story. A remarkable story of a remarkable man. It even brought my missus to tears, and that takes some doing for a film. Me? I shed a tear at lots of things.

Batman (1966). If you haven't seen this yet, treat yourself. Wonderfully tongue-in-cheek but I laughed pretty much all the way through. I'm not sure how Adam West and Burt Ward kept a straight face.
You can also watch all the old Batman series on That's TV. Such fun. Now, where do I find Police Squad..........

I watched a couple of films this week

Prey (Channel 4) another in the Predator line of films. Very good variation on the premise set in the early 1700s, Indians (one in particular) verses a Predator with a gang of Frenchies thrown in for good measure.

Polar (Netflix) quote " Polar is an extremely gory and ultra violent film that is so over the top and wacky, that it makes for a bloody good watch!!!!"
You have been warned. Wish I had got a similar warning about Hostel.

Taking Chance, superb film, based on facts, about a USMC Colonel (played by Kevin Bacon) escorting the body of a Marine home to his family.

Made in 2009, but only just come across it.

Joker 2. Nowhere near as bad as the reviews have made out. The singing is a bit pointless, but quite entertaining.

Good story, and a good ending, solid 7/10

(That said, the woman behind me said it was the worst film she had ever seen in her life😀)
