Does anyone fancy a game? The European Tour are in Russia this week... Apparently if you take your clubs, you've got a decent chance of making it into the field alongside big names such as Edward Rush, Sean Whiffin and Simon Lilly

I'm off to buy my Air Russia ticket

Heard a good one about the Kazakstan Open the other day - the President plays in it every year!! Apparently he told the European Tour that he would only host the tournament if he could compete in it...he is off 20 or so - love that abuse of power! Lastyear he set off just behind the final group and when challenged by tour officials as to what he was doing he said." I am the President I can do what I want!"

Am going to form my own prinicpality and try and persuade the ET to come visiting!

There was some top guy in China (I think?) who everyone was terrified of. The scorer decided gave him a birdie or less on every hole despite him taking 18 etc on some holes. How do you think the R&A would deal with him if he decided to rock up at the Open!!

Yes...it was Kim Jong Il who shot 38 under par in his first ever round of golf.
