That's the same outfit that Sam Smith was wearing a few weeks ago. Lewis is probably off to the pit garage to attach himself to the air hose to get it inflated.

He,s an ambassador and good friend of Tommy Hilfiger. I guess they just send him these clothes to wear, and maybe he actually likes them or not.

All that crap with the cheerleaders yesterday.... I'm almost ready to say cheerio to F1. What a bloody joke it's all become.

I can't help but wonder why the FIA have changed their tune regarding hobbling anyone who comes up with something innovative that is within the rules.

Lotus twin chassis, Brabham fan car: banned instantly.
Brawn double diffuser, McLaren F-duct, Red Bull blown diffuser, Mercedes DAS: all banned after 1 season.
Red Bull "trick DRS" this year: well done lads, we're not bothered that you have no competition.

Why the change in attitude?

Because they want MV to keep winning and stop Hamilton?

Red Bull has the best car , it’s not “trick DRS” that’s keeping them out front more like better aero efficiency of the whole car. If they stopped using DRS now Red Bull would still be winning.
FIA have shortened DRS zones the last couple of races and it’s made no difference other than make the racing boring to watch.

Yes, Red Bull does have the best car, but in addition to that, there's something they've found which means they get a much greater drag reduction when DRS is activated than any other team. Yes, it's almost certainly a case of better aero efficiency, but that doesn't mean it isn't a significant innovation.

I think my point that you've missed is that in the past, whenever a team has made an innovation that gives them a big (or even modest) advantage, the FIA have been quick to squash it, whereas this year there doesn't seem to be any sign of them doing the same.

Plus the extra they spent and got away with a slap on the wrist.
Im sure Newey has found a loophole/way to create the huge speed differential their car has in DRS zones, but that would have cost time and money and the cost cap they broke has to have had a bearing on this and subsequent cars.

I'm a big fan of F1 but this year is rapidly becoming a bore fest with red bull being so far in front of everyone else.
McLaren are my favourite team but they seem to be going backwards as fast as red bull are going forwards .
I really can't see red bull being troubled by anyone this year and barring any misfortune of engine failure then we can look at them finishing 1&2 for a whole lot more races to come.
I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking the advantage redbull have this year will turn a lot of people away from what is a great spectacle of motor racing.
