Got a new set of irons last week. Had them fitted at AG in Leeds.
Got to say I recieved excellent service, the guy who served me was brill gave me lots of good advice and was very thorough. Its good to find that some places still care for thier customers and reputation. Thanks AG.

I agree bignev, I bought my driver from Roundhay AG and they where very good. I did have a problem with them when I bought a set of irons a few years ago but it seems the Jr's they employ have gone and more professional staff work there.

I am one of those that is not a fan and would advise people to go to a pro every time for clubs. I have seen some people fitted, it would appear, by a lunatic with a white stick.

That is not to say that they bugger up 100% of all fittings. Just by random chance, they must get the odd one right.

Good luck with the clubs.

What spec did they fit you for?

Nowt wrong with Wilson, in my opinion.

I use their irons and their balls - very underrated brand as far as I'm concerned.

I'll soon be using their wedges as well.

when my friends younger brother was on work experience

they gave him 5 choices of places (one of which was AG) which he had to number 1-5

1st choice, 2nd etc ....he thought it was 5 was the highest point value and put AG 1st as its what he wanted least....they gave it him he had no interest what so ever

but he did do his work experience there even tho he knew nothing or had interest ...they even offered him a job at the end of it

bit scary to think he could be advising some ppl

To be honest I went in looking for Wilson Clubs and he got me to look at others in cluding some Callaways but Ilike wilsons Fat Shaft.
Not sure what you mean be Spec Ethan

As you know AW im a massive fan of dx2/dx3 balls. I went into AG purposely looking for TM burners & R9 irons, but no.... the man in AG was so pushy he may as well have refused to sell me what i wanted. In then end i gave up and left.

I must say i did hit the DI9 and it wasnt a bad club feel wise, but if its not what you want, its not what you want, pretty simple.

Yep, nothing wrong with Wilson, but it is one of the brands pushed by AG, presumably because they have an incentive to do so.
