Watching PGA, looking like a very good chance of either Stenson, Garcia or Harrington winning this major. Curtis in front but I'm not sure he can handle a course as hard as this.
If I'm going to stick my neck out I think Garcia may finally break his major duck.

I'm trying to force myself to stay up until the end but can't see me lasting the full distance. Sergio is striking it superbly as always and is coping with the conditions better than most- this could be the time he finally claims that elusive major. Then again he's been here before and blown it. I'd love any of the European boys to win it though just to get an early blow into the Americans before the Ryder cup.

This is incredible Harrington and Garcia again slugging it out in the closing holes of a major championship.

At three under each though I'd love to take a peek into the workings of each of their minds. Of course it's different since last time. Harrington has now won a second major and Garcia has won the Players, which although not a major is still a very big deal.

Think I'll stay up!

Yup with what looks like a potentially great finish (I can see a play off coming) I have woken up a bit and will be watching for the duration!

Get in there my son. Harrington really must have nerves of steel! He is surely now a true member of the golfing elite. What a performance- I feel sorry for Sergio as I am fond of both players but I am over the moon with Padraig coming out on top.

Gutted to have not seen any of it, but with the final round ending at about 3.30am here and the alarm going off at 5.30am, there was no chance of me stayin gup to watch it.

From reading on here and the BBC text chat, sounds like it was a great finish.

Absolutely fantastic to see Padraig winning it. As soon as he won The Open, there was the hype about the USPGA but I never saw it happening. Stunning performance from him.

Looking forward to the Ryder Cup now (which will mean a few late nights/early mornings I guess!)

Never got to see any of it, not having Sky doesn't help but I would have thought that Setanta could have run it even if a day late.

Padraig/Sergio great result but it's done my fantasy league no good at all. Nil points I reckon.

What a nights drama--two great europeans going toe to toe and showing true grit and determination.

Harringtons mental strength won the day-however Sergios putting stroke did not hold up when the pressure came on over the last few holes.

I do think Sergio needs to get a sports pyschologist on board to get his mind right.
