Perhaps the media and press should drop all this shite about 'BELIEVE' and just 'HOPE' !!!!!!!!

James lardass Corden is on telly last night saying they are still gonna win. Get real ya bell end !!

Instead of the nation WANTING them to win they have told them they MUST win.

after watching yesterdays games just pray we don't come up against the Kiwis if (unlikely) we get through.

proof positive that you don't need all those overpaid, egoistical, prima donnas - you need passion, committment and a bit of talent.

someone said he hopes there is a Plan B - no chance - first you need a Plan A!

Barry did fairly well but he shouldn't even be there - he is not fit enough. James, on a hiding to nothing, did well enough.

It's been said a lot by the pundits that this is Capello's first tournament - and doesn't it show. Even if it is his first, surely it doesn't take a genius to know you need a squad of fit players if you're going to be playing every three or four days - taking a bunch of crocks is hamstringing you from the off.

Capello seems to know nothing but 4-4-2 but it's not all his fault. The captain has to be more than a figurehead. There are 11 players out there with years of experience of, supposedly, playing at the highest level. If they can see (hopefully) that the plan isn't working then are they utterly incapable of changing it on the fly?
Even off a 22 handicap I know enough to occasionally put away the driver if all I'm doing is thrashing it into the shrubbery!

We have to take a half-day if we want to watch Wednesday - don't think I'll bother!

The English football team visited an orphanage in Soweto today. "Its good to put a smile on the faces of people with no hope, constantly struggling and facing the impossible" said Jamal Umboto aged 6.
