Played it years ago in the Lombard Pro-Am...not at all bad.
Had a stream running through it that is a real ball magnet..

Was a member here many many years ago, decent James Braid layout, condition can be a little variable though has been decent this summer im told (albeit from a biased source), a few holes can get a bit dry in summer (especially 13) and likewise as they are on a flood plain they can be vulnerable in very wet winters , food in the clubhouse is excellent.

The stream Ian mentions comes into play on 10 holes I think, the majority of the course is tree lined, theres a few good risk and reward holes for the longer hitters too

We had our four B all there today and we really enjoyed it.

its a nice track and all the staff we encountered could not have been more welcoming. It seems almost like two nines where the first hole and most of the back nine feel set out differently to the second throug to the 9th.

Some vey pretty holes too and all in all a very nice day and overall experience.

We had a four ball voucher we won in a raffle but at the current green fee rates it's certainly worth a visit if you get the chance.
