Points were awarded as follows:

Top Six
Two points for correct place, one point if they were in the top six. Minus one if they didn't even make top half (Brighton).

Bottom Three
Two for correct place, one for within bottom three. Minus one if they finished top half (Palace).

Cup Finals
Two for correct winner, one if they lost in the final. I've marked in bold the ones that will still earn 1 or 2 points on that basis, and the points total is shown with an asterisk to reflect the fact that it will increase by 1 or 2, or potentially 2 3 or 4 in Colchester's case.

First Sacking
If you recall there was controversy in that Lopetegui was technically a day or two before the season, so I've given two for that and also two for Heckingbottom who was the first sacked after the season began. Half a point to those who said Cooper as he was sacked before Christmas. If your chosen manager did not lose his job at all then you lost a point.

Best Signing/Biggest Flop
Here's where it gets very subjective and difficult to score, but I've given a point to those who said Rice since he was nominated for player of the season and none of our other selections were. Mount & Tonali got you minus one because they barely even played. In the flop category it's a point for Mount, Ugochukwu and Danjuma, because again, they barely even played. Minus points for a selection of players here who actually did very well (Rice, Havertz & Szoboszlai).

Onana & Højlund were debatable in my mind - people called them flops at various times but you could also argue they did ok in an entire team that was a flop, so I didn't award points either way for them. One person said Young would be a flop but that seemed like such an open goal that I didn't have the heart to give a point for that.

Congratulations goes to @4LEX with a likely 18 points scored! @ColchesterFC will potentially leapfrog to second place with another 4 points from the cup finals.

I like the fact that my ‘best signing’ ended up missing most of the season and my flop ended up as one of the best players of the season

Close to a double in the Prediction League and this one. I feel a bit hard done by with Onana not getting at least 1 point for being a flop! Maddison was looking great first half of the season too, shame the injury destroyed his season.

Man Utd for the treble Saturday 👏

As I mentioned, wasn't sure how to judge Onana. He was a laughing stock at times but statistically he actually fares up well - probably because he had an awful defence in front of him and made a few saves.

Havertz is generous in my opinion! Had a very good last two months but most of the season was crap. I need every point so therefore I'm right. :ROFLMAO:
He certainly wasn't a flop, he got 13 goals and 7 assists!

I seen that @Steve Wilkes had Gvardiol as best signing, that couldn’t of been far away, the goals and performance from a left back for the the second half of the season was vital for City to win the league….
Yeah, a lot of the 'best signing' nominations were good though. I didn't want to get into assessing every single one. Could have given half a point for Gvardiol, Szoboszlai, Maddison, then I'd have to debate whether Mac Allister or Havertz deserved the half point, then you'd have people telling me Jackson was good even though he looked rubbish for half a season etc etc. Since it was best signing rather than just good signings I thought I'd leave it at Rice. If anyone had said Palmer though they'd have got a point as well I reckon.

Pleased to have predicted domestic winners of all trophies but gutted I didn't stick a tenner on it! :ROFLMAO:
