Hi guys, i was hoping someone would be able to help me

I was given an electric trolley a couple of months ago and i want it to last until christmas time (where HOPEFULLY my better half is going to get me a Powakaddy!). The battery has now gone, which i am replacing this week but the main problem is that it always tracks to the left.

I constantly have to keep my hand on the trolly with plenty of weight on it...which over an 18 hole round, is harder on the arm than a pull trolley.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem with their trolleys (mine is an Easy Caddy)..and if you have any remedies for this?

Thanks very much in advance!

Check the "nose" wheel, I know on my powakaddy it is mounted with a slot allowing the bolt to move on one side.

Hi again all, thanks for your replies!
I have a good look at it earlier and the front wheel does indeed have a kind of slot where the bolt tightens. The slot is on the left hand side and the bolt is all the way back (towards back wheels) and will have been pulling the trolley left. Thanks for telling because although its plain to see, i wouldn't have looked without suggestion!!

Also i ordered a battery today. Wasn't too sure about it because the original dead battery was outputting 24a and the one i found was outputting 28a. However i checked the motor and it said 16.5a!! So i went ahead and ordered it seeing as the original battery seems incorrect.
Will everything work fine of have i made a big mistake?!?

Just a quick update on my previous post, the battery came today and size wise its exactly the same as the old one, the only difference being that when it is in the correct position for the battery bag, the contacts are on the side, rather than the top.

Going to take it out for a spin tomorrow..hope it works!

The one on mine at least is simple. Rather than a round hole for the bolt, the hole is about as long as 3 or 4 bolt widths.

As mine was tightened at the rear of the hole, pulling the wheel left, i simply loosened the bolt, moved it toward the centre of the hole and re-tightened it :)
