Anyone used or currently wearing them....
Quite frankly im done with FJ as iv had too many bad experiences with them and iv lost trust in their shoe department......
Im thinking this time after my injury when i get the chance to wear 2 shoes again im going to get something very comfy and dependable....

I have a few pairs of their casual shoes and they are like slippers straight out of the box and just get better with time....
Am i naive in thinking that their Golf shoes will be the same?

I have worn Ecco golf shoes for years now and, like their other shoes, they are superb. I will never consider going back to FJ etc. Ecco are streets ahead!

Cheers fella's.....
Im a great believer in you pay for what you get and if you buy cheap in most things you buy twice......

I just need something really really comfy and light and waterproof.....And i know they are not the cheapest of brands but im willing to drop a little money for them if they are worth it....

Is there any particular model i should get.

i have 2 pairs of the classic one in black the other pair brown awesome shoes last for years.

seen a pair in the shop, they look good but don't offer much support so just be careful walking, or just stay on fairways lol

I have 3 pairs of the Classic Goretex - excellent comfort and waterproof - which are slightly better quality than Dryjoys.

Also 1 pair of World Class GTX (equivalent to Footjoy Classics) which are not quite as comfy as the Classics (of either brand).

I found them awfully narrow - i bought a pair with velcro on them as i am constantly having to retie my shoe laces and it does my nut in

but i prefer my foot joys...laces and all ;)

Tried on the Biom ones recently and were extremely comfortable.

They are expensive but excellent quality. I may well look at them again when I need new shoes.

Among my many pairs of golf shoes I have a pier of Ecco streets. They are comfy, well made, but not golf shoes. They have a one year waterproof guarantee. Hah. I wore them to jet wash my patio, and they are no way waterproof.
Not cheap either.

Are they worth the notes Rick?
I picked up the Bioms for less than half price at my pro's ** and to be honest I wouldn't have paid the £169 asking price, but they are very comfy...wore them for the afternoon round at Woburn and I carried both rounds.....my feet were as fresh as daisy's.... :whoo:

**also got a free Ecco glove, a sleeve of prov1's and they came with a cool shoe bag.............

I had eccos and they were seriously the best shoes I have ever worn, up until I never trained over winter and found that they had dried out and shrunk - gutted as they were like wearing smoked salmon. I have FJ sports at the mo and love them, but would by ecco next without blinking - especially the yellow ones that look edgy!!!

For the guys above with more than 1 pair of shoes - isnt that greedy?

I bought a pair of Mens 'Tour' Ecco shoes around three months ago. The quality is first class, I love them. They are also extremely stable and comfortable.
