Early or late tee times?

i used to play early but since my better half took up golf we usually tee off around lunchtime. she is not a morning person. my personal preference depends on the season. early tee times are fine in summer not so much when it's cold out there.

Always early....nothing beats being on a golf course as the rest of the world wakes up.
18 holes, lunch, Sunday papers, then carnage in the playground with my 3yr old daughter = a perfect Sunday

Now for people that have been playing for years, what their excuses.

the last one was that the practice putting green was full, so they just used the 18th which was right next to it......quick end to what would otherwise have been a 2 day event for the individual!

Always a morning for me, out before 8 every time course is quieter. my current wife works one on one off for Saturdays and when im out 2pm it takes more then 5 hours sometimes to get around and it is torture, before 8am and im regulalry in the club house around 11am and thats on a three ball

Always early for me. I like to have my round and still have a lot of the day ahead of me for other things.

I feel I get the most from my weekends now. I used to be in the pub on a Friday night and get up at midday on a Saturday, now I play golf I don't go to the pub and feel my weekends are much, much longer!

10am is the ideal time for me. I get up with the wee girl at 7am and make her breakfast etc. Can make myself a good breakfast too and have been awake for a few hours before I head to the course.

Missus gets a lie in as well, so I don't feel as bad when I run out the door :)

9 or 10 o clock when I can. Gives me time to wake up properly, get to the course and have a good 30 min warm up in the nets/putting and chipping!
