Get up at 4:10 every weekday for work. Bed is around 10pm ish, but I can survive on 4 hrs sleep.
At the weekend, it’s a little later, perhaps 5:30 on Saturday and 7 on Sunday.
Can’t stand laying in bed waiting the day.

I wake early and will often get up and make me a coffee; listen to radio and/or read a book, then chat with Mrs when she stirs…but I generally don’t ’get up’ until 9ish or later.

The only days I get up early (for me 7.30) is the days I am playing golf around 10.30-11.

I usually go to bed somewhere between 11 and 12 but rarely go straight to sleep, usually put on some music and listen to that and fall asleep with it on.

When I worked I usually finished around 8-10pm. I had to get up to get the kids ready and used to have a nap in the afternoon before going to work around 5.

Up at half 6 for work. Wake similar at the weekend.

Just this week I've stated drinking decaf tea after 6 and I've been able to feel tired after 11. I would normally go to bed some time after 12.

Making an effort now to try and get more sleep.

Couldn't sleep 9 hours now if I tried. Although I could nap for an hour during the day if I was off.

Up at 5 every morning to let the dog out. Make coffee and watch recorded sport or YouTube for a couple of hours. Always in bed by 9.30pm managing only one chapter of my book before nodding off.

Ive gone early bird as a lifetime of 5.30-6am starts means I’m always going to be awake by 6.30 even at the weekends… the Mrs is totally different, 25 years of Casino work means she will be on her phone playing sudoku till about 2am and struggles to get up for 9am!

Night owl. On average I go to sleep about 3 hours later than my wife.

We are both more or less retired now, so she does her thing in the morning and I watch the programs she isn't interested in (golf etc) after she has gone to bed.

Works out pretty well really.

I'm wondering if I'm on the wrong time zone.
Up at 04.30 which means asleep by 9.....which means up at 5 and so on
I have a theory that we all have our 'natural' sleep times that we would default to if we had literally no other commitments, and they are different for everyone - I wonder if they are linked to the time you were born? Probably no research done on that though.

Once I left school I remained unemployed for a year, and I lapsed into going to sleep at something silly like 3am and then getting up at 11:30.

Woke up at 3.15 this morning which I wish I could say was unusual. Had coffee/smoke and weirdly my wife got up early at 4.30, so by 5.15 we were out doing our 5k walk before sun-up
Meant that by 6.45 I was hitting balls at the practice range at the club for an hour before going home and getting ready to go to work

Meant to be going for dinner at Italian when i finish work, I bet we'll be home by 7.30pm... def not a night owl

Mine has drifted from one to the other with age. Would be night owl until fairly recently but early bird these days.

Seem to have gone from being a heavy sleeper to a light one with age over time too

Dog used to have me up at 6.30 to do his business, just carried on with that now really. Helps I've got the schoold run to get up for. Was never really one to sleep until late even as a teenager. Always felt it was a wasted day.
