It's a great week up there. First one I've missed for a while. Looks fantastic on TV & it's free until Sunday.
This is Pieter's Bomb down 7th at Carnoustie today https://www.facebook.com/TheEuropeanTour/videos/10153853123170969

Seem to remember me, Region 1,2 & 3 taking driver, rescue on that hole into the wind on tour in May. Awesome golf course!

Cracking shot that, was there down the left side, he played some real good shots today and a couple dodgy ones. His second shot on the 10th his first, a topped iron shot from the rough was unexpected but also nice to see as a handicap golfer.

Jamie Redknapp turned up at my young lads school and did a training session with them as they won the Scottish Cup last year, young lad said he was cracking lad.

Does your lad play for the Scottish Cup winning team? I photographed the Johnnies in a couple of schools cup finals at the end of the season - Menziehill beating the Scottish Cup winners at Tannadice in a great game and the under 15s being beaten by Grove in their final at Dens?

Anyway back to the Dunhill - great week, free golf watching on three days at three great courses - I'm not going to make it along this year but it's a very decent day out.

My annual post on this tournament ranting about the celebrities who play in it. Out rolls Rednap, Botham, Hugh Grant, Shane Warn, Michael Vaughan, Ronan Keating, Alan Hansen, Bryan McFadden etc etc gushing about 'the best week of the year'. (Yes I'm a little jealous) Don't know why it bugs me but it just does. Why not get some young kids to play. That said, I like seeing players playing with their dads/brothers etc etc.

They do tend to invite some young Scottish amateurs. Not sure how many each year but I know of at least one girl who's playing this year.

I think they do invite a couple but don't make the TV. The young lad from my club Sandy Scott went last year, not this year as he's got to College in the US.

If Scotland ever had a bad advert then it's Louis Oosthuizen, he needs a fit up the backside and for someone to tell him to get rid of that Burqa look 👊🏼

Wasn't that just stupid, why bring attention to yourself when you're just taking divots and making a mess?

I see there was a good few amateurs scored better than a few of the Ryder Cup players.

Weather looks good out there today so should be some good golf but for some its to late, no way back

Yeah it's hackers corner for Fitz, Foul mouthed Willet and sleazebag Westwood.

I'd love to see Tam Pieters picking up a few shots or even leap frogging that drip Fisher, he's a right barrel of laughs him!

Great day round St Andrews today. Set off with Danny Willet and Matt Fitzpatrick, before catching bits of Kaymer, Cabrera Bello, Pieters, Beef and Noren. Before following Hatton down 15, 16, 17 and 18.

Really good field knocking it round today.

I'm sure they speak highly of you too. What has Westwood done to be declared a sleazebag?
