Was surprised at price on website, £80 for iron fitting and takes between 1-3 hours, very reasonable

Just a look around mate. You know me, I rarely change my equipment......

You're best option is to give him a ring first to discuss your options. Be prepared though, there are a lot of very exotic (expensive) shafts on show.

Been looking at Tour X for a while, am definitely changing my irons over the Winter.
Has anyone on here had a fitting with Nick?

He's a top bloke and very very knowledgeable. The aftersales service is second to non as well. He will put something together that is best for you. Be it a stock shaft, or something exotic. His reputation is outstanding. Never heard a bad word said about Nick at Tour-X.

If you're in Chester, you have the option of fore golf in Sealand who charge £25 quid for a fitting with a pro. They have plenty of choice, srixon range balls, trackman etc. They knock the fitting off the club if you buy it.

You also have hotgolf in cheshire Oaks who will let you use the simulater (flight scope or something) for free to figure out what you need. They have different shaft head options too for various makes.

Ps, be careful if following a Satnav. They can sometimes take you into the middle of one of the worst housing estates in Wigan. Check the address on a map before you go.

I was ranting by the time I found the place, all I wanted to do was buy a putter not do the Tour De Wigan.
