Driver problem help needed please

I bought a driver with a custom shaft 2nd hand went out on the course with it and all I could hit was low hooks I need a little help with why that was happening as I normally have a straight or fade right shot

What is your driver swing speed? If you are not swinging the club 95 mph or more then I would suggest that it is too stiff.

My driver swing speed is well over 100mph

Just hit your 4 iron past everyone else's drives like normal mate

General rule is if the shaft is too stiff it will go right/slice and if shaft too wippy it will go left/hook to me it sound like the shaft is too wippy for you. With a swing speed of over a 100 you need to be playing stiff at least or may be x-stiff 110 plus. Also got to be careful when buying a shaft from say titleist as the shaft are a made for titleist and generally softer. I had a stiff shaft Aldila in my callaway and it played like a regular so got rid.

What size is the grip?
And what size are your hands/glove ?

I like my gloves real tight bob so wear a large glove but I'd really be a xl glove it was a golf pride multi compound

Maybe you could try another club with a Midsize or Jumbo grip and see how that feels
