Hi Guys,

Im new on here and wanted to ask if anyone else has a similar problem. My driving is relatively accurate with a nice draw however my irons have similar accuracy but with a fade?

Any ideas why this may be?

I play an R9 460 setup to Neutral so I dont think its the bias on my driver?

Any help much appreciated

Thanks

probably ball position and shaft lenght.

I have been working on my swing and my driver draws and my irons are straight or fading. This is due to me better at getting my body round with the driver than irons as the swing and shaft are longer.

The better I get the more my irons go straight.

Just remember that what you have is a good thing, irons are for accuracy, as long as you have a nice high soft controllable fade you cannot loose! The worse swing is a drawn PW that rolls out 30 feet uncontrollably, the best thing is a high soft 4 iron over a bunker to a tight pin that sticks on the green!

Drivers are for distance, aim out to the right and draw them back in!

Just make sure you get regular lessons to keep it all under control, its so easy to mess up when things are going well.

I try to see the club pro once a month just to make sure Im not developing anything catastrophic in my swing!

Do you suggest I place the ball further back in my stance to combat this fade?

Thanks

Is it a fade or a push ? obviously your playing the ball off your front foot with the driver, and further back with your irons,so maybe your hands and wrists are rolling over with the driver, whereas with the irons the face is a tad open,or your coming into the ball from inside??
