Draw!

So yesterday I played 9 holes at my local course, I played crack generally, but as ever I had a few proud dad moments with some cracking shots...

The best I think is hitting my 3wood into the left hand side of the fairway with a cracking draw!

I hit and thought, oh balls this one is going well right, then lo and behold it starts to turn gently and come all the way back and hit roughly where I was aiming before dribbling to a stop on the left hand edge!

My first ever proper draw so I'm well chuffed, I had a few other great shots, but not enough to post a 58 on the card for 9!!!!!

Oh well, best get practising again!

dont i know it, Also a draw will generally be a longer ball, but in the summer when its hard it can deliver some violent bounces into so nasty places. This winter im throwing the natural draw in the bin... bring on the power fade!

i disagree, we have a good 6 capper at our club who hits miles with a controlled fade. that is going to be my 2012 shot shape.
