Yeah, I'm not sure trying to make people invest more time into it was a strong play for them when 99% abandon it pretty quickly already.

I haven’t gone into it very deeply with regards the rules etc but I can see me not using boosts and double captain as I’ll forget.

I used to play when it was a relatively simple exercise of selecting 6 players per week, and making one of them Captain. I looked at it this time with a view to rejoining, but it's far too complicated and time consuming, so I didn't bother.

I'm struggling to feel the love for this current iteration.
Looking at the league table and other players' teams gives me no idea as to how well I'm doing as I have no clue as to whether or not they've used any subs or used their 'Boosters', therefore I don't know whether I'm comparing like with like.
It's a bloody shambles!

I still can't sub players, still can't see the bench of anyone - except knowing that it's 5 and 6 of the picks...

No problems using the bench for me since they were both dreadful and missed the cut.

This part is easy, just make sure you've selected 'round 3' and click and drag the player you want to sub out, into the bench area.
I think the viewing of other people's teams needs an update, as you say, you can see how many points each player has but can't necessarily see who they've had on the bench or whatever. If you particularly care about other teams in that much detail of course. I think we'll see that change as we go along though.

OK, picks 5 and 6 have missed the cut so I wouldn't be subbing anyway but if I wanted to I just can't......R3 tab is selected.....
I don't have a Bench......apart from the round tabs my team screen looks virtually identical to last year..6 players, all with scores but only the 1st 4 counting towards the total.

What is going on with this year's itteration?
I woke up this morning to find that I can't see any of my team and where their name should be it merely says 'LOCKED'.
I'm almost at the point of giving up, this is supposed to be fun!

As I said above - I think they likely locked it just before the event starts so people can't make last minute changes. Now it's showing because they've teed off.
