Who decides when one season ends and a new one starts then if they don't get any rest period. Would be like the Premier League season ending and starting the new one the following week.

Season finished on Sunday in Dubai, starts Thursday in Oz and SA.
Sometimes there's a week or 2 gap but these days they build those gaps into the season.
