For the Jocks......what is it likely to be like weekend of 24th September......getting damp by then??

Looking for an idea for a game on the Saturday before a night in the 'Ferry' then attack Royal Aberdeen and shoot 90 plus on the Sunday...

Aye,I am dying to go back but don't like wet hole courses.

Trying to find something that will fit in with our travel north on the Saturday.

alan ,downfield is a great course but not at that time of year im afraid ,it will be getting a damp and wet by then,try monifieth if i were you,were are you guys staying im working that weekens or you could have played my place.

I'll second Monifieth. A very good test.

In that neck of the woods, you've got Panmure - very very nice. Or a bit less money but a nice little track, Alyth.

Played Leven but not Lundin but canny get on Saturdays.Sure last year was £20 I think....bargain...21p a shot.
Would gladly play at yours as I know it will still be dry!

I really like it. I've never scored particularly well there but enjoy it none the less as I like the layout and it's normally presented in good condition. I'm looking forward to playing the open there again this year but hoping for a kinder wind.

arbroath is worth a visit,greens are always superb ,not the longest by any means but a decent track all the same and its less than 15 minutes drive from the ferry

Spoilt for courses in that area. I too like Arbroath, but there is also Montrose, or further south Scotscraig which haven't been mentioned.

clive i did mention scotscraig its my home course and yes letham is open this weekend some guys from work are members there but there not sure what the course will be like ,its a course i really like.
