Middle of the 18th fairway, and just about in range of the par 5 last in two. Pull out the 3 wood and go for it. Back foot slips and I hook the ball OOB, and finish with 36 pts...

38 would have given me a card play off and 2nd place, the birdie would have given me 1st. I end up 4th and out of the prizes.

It would have also got me back to 5 h'cap.

I hate golf!!

Just unlucky but I think you did the right thing going for it, none of this hitting 5 iron for safety then pitch on for easy par nonsense.
