Astro-turf winter tee beds. The ones were you can put a tee in anywhere as it is more like artificial grass. The firm mats at our course are not very good and we have one tee bed that is approx. 2.5 metres by 4 metres that does have an artificial grass type, which is great. I can imagine that a certain amount of groundwork has to be done, but anyone know from committee's how much the approx. cost is?

The mats at the Centurion Club were some of the best I've warmed up on, tee peg in anywhere easily, get Rick to ask the question or drop them a line asking for a supplier reference, you won't find better.

My elite artificial grass cost £24.35 plus VAT. per square metre back in 2009. If you want any more info let me know. :thup:

Thanks for the replies. It looks like £699 for the size required, although probably be cheaper for a golf club, as would probably be economies of scale if they bought a large roll, then just a few bits of wood and man honours to fit.
