Dodgy Buy

Was looking at the new listings of ping on eBay, to try and grab some bargains, and found a ping g15/i15 tour bag for 40 quid!
The seller was very good with communication, and did specify that he wasn't sure if it was real .
He said that he bought it from a guy at work, and the guy at work bought the bag In a set. However the clubs bought with the bag had no serial number. The person who sold the clubs to the person at work said that they did not have serial numbers because they were not assembled in the USA ping factory.
Im pretty sure that's not possible , but I just need a second opinion.
Can I have a second opinion please ?

sounds dodgy.... probably is!

also, although I use a tour bag myself a cart bag (if you use a trolley) or proper stand bag would be better suited

Tour bags do look bloody nice though

If the guy himself isn't sure then I'd steer clear. It "might" be kosher but then again it could be a real rip off and you've done your money or cost yourself a headache trying to get it back. Plenty of decent tour bags around online at reasonable prices

There were a lot of forged pings and callaway clubs about the last few years usually come as a whole set, Bag woods irons putter - If he aint sure thats as good as a yes to me keep clear
