Greetings everyone! Curious how you’re staying sharp on your golf game before spring arrives.
Even though winter is in full swing and many courses are quieter, a lot of golfers are still putting in the work — indoor ranges, gym training, swing adjustments, you name it.
We’d love to hear from you:
👉 Do you keep practicing during the winter/off-season?
👉 What kind of training do you usually do?
👉 Indoor range, swing mat at home, or do you travel somewhere warmer to play?
Feel free to drop some 📸 winter-practice moments too 😉

I have never practised this much during winter, mainly because our group has played a ton of indoor golf as well as going for a winter lesson cycle. I am confident that I will hit the new season in peak form (if only haha).

Yup, still going to the driving range every Thursday night. It gives me an extra fix of hitting golf balls when I'm only playing a round once a week.

I really need to force myself to get down the club on Tuesday lunchtimes to practice my chipping and putting. Yesterday, sadly, I couldn't be bothered. Was cold though. 😄

I play throughout the winter. Dont go out with many expectations with the ground conditions being what they are.

I still go and hit the range now and again during the winter but in truth...playing is my practice.

Trying to get to the range 2-3 times a week as I'm having a lesson a fortnight over the next few months, and want to be ready for the new season.

Playing 3 times a week if the weather permits.

One fun thing over the winter is that the youngest of our golf group is really starting to challenge me for the spot of 'lowest handicap' of our group. I am not very competetive by nature, but I am getting a kick out of seeing how long I can hold him off the top spot. Top spot is not very lofty... currently 17.9 hehe. He's at 22 right now but playing much better.

I know longer practice due to age and injury .
When a lot younger my winter practice was the same as my summer practice - anytime, any place, anywhere, as much as I could get in.
