Hi guys recently I've been debating getting a trolley I don't have any pain carrying clubs but just feel a trolley will keep me feeling fresher during the round what's everyone's experiences with a trolley and would It be worthwhile buying one?. Also can anyone recommended me a decent starter trolley something less than £100
Thanks guys

I use one for the same reasons and its made a big difference to my energy levels over the back 9.

I bought a Bullet 5000 trolley from Amazon for £60 and its been brilliant but it doesnt seem to be listed on there now.

I bought a motocaddy s3 digital for £80 off eBay and it was like new, brilliant piece of kit and Evan has a digital screen on which give distances and timers ect.

This may sound really stupid but what's the need in the digital screen and what distances does it give?.

You hit a cracking drive, best of the day and think 'I'll measure that using my trolley' - you then get that massive feeling of deflation when it is nowhere near as far as your estimate :D

Mine gives me:

Time
Temperature (not accurate)
Can measure the length between two points
Distance covered since powering up
Shot Counter
Speed setting and actual speed in mph
Battery meter

and total lifetime distance - briefly on first connecting battery

Most of which I rarely look at to be honest.

As said above it gives you a handy idea of what time it is, total distance walked, and you can keep track of how far your tee shots are if you reset it to zero by your tee and then push it to where your ball lands, although I'm not 100% sure how accurate mine is lol

Chaps at our place have been told to cover up the temperature read out during comps as against the rules.

So as far as playing the game is concerned - not a lot of use really :)

Forgot to mention, mine has a tournament mode which switches off pretty much everything apart from speed setting, not that knowing the temperature would make on iota of difference to my game :)

I have a carry bag and a trolley and unless I'm playing 36 holes, I carry.
If you can carry without any trouble, then carry would be my advice.

I made the leap last year. I have had trolleys before but always gone back to carrying. However, with it being so wet last year I got fed up having a constantly wet back so bought a stewart Z3 push trolley and love it. It folds down nice and small even if you leave the wheels attached so fits easily in my boot with my clubs. I don't know that I feel any fresher after the round but not having to chuck my bag on my shoulders constantly is quite nice. When it rains, the brolley holder is great too, so much easier to keep things dry and more importantly, your hands don't get so wet.

The Z3 is over your budget but if you can stretch to it or pick one up second hand I would recommend it
