Yeah, I agree, A diesel would be the best bet for what LB described. I had a quick squint on autotrader when I posted this yesterday and saw £12k was at a push for the Qashqai (below). With his powers of negotiation though i'm sure he could grind them down

Repo cars - big gamble, or not?

What should I be careful of?

Looks a bargain this! Never looked at a repo car before.... could be something similar as not paying the finance and it being picked up.... would like to see the service history and how many previous owners etc etc...

there appears to be a real lack of estates that don't still have diesel TBH, unless you want auto of course.
