Did he or didn't he?

Surprised no one as tried to sue for this happening,especially in America.

I'm not sure it'd get very far, In the tickets for the events there are terms and conditions you essentially waive your rights:

"You assume all risk and danger arising out of your attendance including loss of your personal property, or injury from a golf shot or by other spectators or players, and you hereby release TOUR" etc etc

And when someone is hit and killed or suffers serious brain injury I am sure there will be some legal eagle and judge in the land that will cite with the family.
