Did he or didn't he?

Man that had to have hurt.... With the frequency of these things happening i think that the USPGA are going to have to start handing out these....

Think I heard a very faint fore right even though its fore left !

Sounded like someone saying "be right". Something needs to be done about these muppets not shouting fore. They seem to think a signed glove makes up for it.

This just happens way too often. I'm surprised nobody has been killed yet. But it seems that's what it would take for the powers that be to do anything about it.

I'm not excusing Keegan, but why didn't some on else on the tee shout?
Isn't their usually some one on the tee indicating what direction the ball is traveling?

I'm going to play devils advoctae here and say that you, as the viewer, will only hear what the boom mikes on the tee box pick up.

If the feed to the microphones was cut to then follow the flight of the ball you wouldn't hear anything. He may well have shouted, everone on the tee box may have, but you still wouldn't hear it.

However.

Looking at his body language and how the moves after the shot, he knew it was heading for the crowd. He didn't even hold is club out to the left to indicate the direction of the ball.

Very poor show indeed.

Good point. Surely some one on the tee would av shouted.

Yet again a bad example to amateurs and youngsters... someone needs to speak to these pros and get there acts together... spitting, slow play, bad temper and not shouting fore!! :( Its the basics that need to be done to keep the game as it should be. I don't like Keegan at all but in his defence even if he had shouted I doubt no one would have or could have moved but thats not the point and its the thought and warning that counts!! Bad showing again from the Pros.

Cant believe he didn't show Fore, something needs to be done really.

I did see a picture of Dufner standing behind him on the tee pointing his driver left indicating that it was going left. Still doesn't excuse the lack of shout.

If he didn't shout Fore! then tried to offer me a poxy free signed glove I'd sue. Simple as that, if it was proved the person who hit the ball didn't attempt to warn the crowd it would be in the hands of a solicitor asap. Shout Fore! it isn't difficult no matter how disappointed you are with the shot. What if that had been a small child?

I do not agree with this statement at all PS. It IS the responsibility of whoever hit the shot to shout Fore! No excuses can be made for Bradley on this. Sorry.

You might want to read the first line of my post again:whistle:
It is definitely Bradley's responsibility to give the shout, however if I was on the tee with him & saw the ball heading towards a group of spectators I'd give the shout if he didn't

It will happen. Someone will sue at some point. Keegan isn't alone and shouldn't be a scapegoat. This has been a scourge on tour for a while now and will only get worse. On the plus side my slice towards the group on the 4th yesterday was met with a bellow heard throughout West Hill. It was close!! Still made a net par

It isn't just the US though. I've seen European's best players stand there and at best point lamely with a driver. Why is it the caddies are also struck dumb whenever their man hits a bad one

We knew it was close as it wasn't really a bellow, more of a terrified scream! Good shouting from your group, thanks, although the tree did its job so all was well in the end!:D

This is my thinking, you've got at least 2 players & 2 caddies on the tee. How hard is it for 1 of them to shout fore?
