I'll have a read f this later. But I float in-between the highs and low of life. I can't take the loiws so basically have removed myself from football. Sure I pay a bit of attention, but I'm so removed from it allj I don't care. Life is a rollercoaster is so apt. I can't take the lows. Currently in a proper low. Could give up now if it werepossible.

Remember that there highs as well as lows, especially when you're feeling low.

Churchill referred to those days as, "the black dog" visiting. Many people are in a similar boat.

Please talk to your GP. Get some help, you wouldn't leave a broken leg without plaster!

Speak to your Dr. Mine was going to put me on happy pills until I told him I was more scared of the highs than the lows and I was then diagnosed and put on mood stabilisers. 13 years and counting but much more level

I immediately thought the same about medication. But I took them, had to mess around with the routine, before bed worked best. I'm sure they helped.

I changed jobs and, apart from the odd wobble, been fine for 15 years. I had CBT too, very useful.

I still get "down days"... I think everyone does to varying degrees. But I just put it down to that's how I can be.

I'm rubbish this time of year too. I get busy booking next years golf trips.

Ah you see mine was he thought I was depressed but when I explained I wasn't depressed I was more scared of the highs he said good job I said that as the happy pills would have sent me through the roof

Instead I got diagnosed with bipolar and put on mood stabilisers which keep me level (ISH)

Back in the early 90's I was in a dark place, darker than you could imagine.
I ended up seeing a therapist who made a staggering difference, he enabled me to put all my thoughts in the right places and for the right reasons.
I now fully understand the reasons for my clinical depression and can now forsee possible issues and deal with them before thay become a real issue.
Oh, and I was put on Prozac for six months or so.
There is help out there, please seek it.
There is light at the end of the tunnel, provided you're strong enough to seek it.
I genuinely wish you well.
There is an answer, please find it. (y)

I stopped posting on here a few weeks ago for the reasons I stated.

I was still reading the forums though, but decided I still didn't want to post any more for the time being.

But I am back again if I can help you in any way.

Carrying on from my last post just above...

How are you doing? @Crazyface

Perhaps you should post again on the forums because you seemed to enjoy doing that in the past.

There are lots of people here who will be more than happy to talk to you about whatever problems you are going through.

PM me if you want to chat.
