Definitely, (definitely), don't want to play today......

lol we were playimg in this weather yesterday, it just makes it more important to keep your gear dry. If the course is open get out into it Smiffster, any day on the course os better than sitting indoors looking at the four walls.

I'm never one to let the weather stop me playing but this weekend has been a write off. We're awaiting 80mph gusts just now and the rain is just about going up the way!

Walker cup on telly for me today

Played in the medal. Another point one. Par, par, par, treble start. Shanked a 5i off the tee, and that was that. Finished with my usual 9 down 18 too.
Worst round of the weekend. 42 points Friday, 39 yesterday, rubbish today, when it mattered. Hello 9.4.

Played in the medal earlier, pretty breezy, upto 3 clubs at times and got 2 horrenedous downpours just to make sure everything was pretty wet for the whole round.

Cant complain as got it round under handicap including 2 2s :)

Southern poof.

Aye, ye could be right Donald.
Played like a Jessie. Could hardly walk after 9 holes, stinking bloody cold. Dragged myself around the back 9 but didn't stay for the prizegiving dinner.
They'd have only taken the piss oot of me
:o :o :o :o

Came home, showered and slept on the settee all afternoon

I also went out, it was dry for the first 10 mins but windy, very windy (3 or 4 club wind), rain started and the ball oscillated on the green, stand bags being blown over, couldnt even light a fag :o
had to do an hour on the range afterwards to get my swing back

Tested the R11 irons this morning. Beautiful sunshine but a strong right to left helping wind made distances hard to accurately assess. Just got to the office to do some work after a good range session on the way in and it hosed it down. Happy to miss that

played 18 holes in wild 30 mph winds and driving rain, after 2 holes I wanted to go home, never ever been so wet or cold in my life. Miserable doesn't even come close.

At least I won some whisky in the charity raffle after as my golf certainly won no prizes.

Didn't play today but we had some harsh wind and 3 or 4 Biblical downpours that would have tested any waterproofs.
Got Man-Flu anyway so didn't even go out........

Big difference at Blairgowrie. 11.00 tee time and a couple of light showers. Light breeze and played in shirt sleeves all way round.
