Another recommendation for the Pings. Whether they play their irons or not, Pretty much everyone on this thread has recommended the Pings..... I think Nike have a long way to go to be held in the same high regard..... And TaylorMade, Well....

I have got Pings and can confirm that I am old but not incontinent (yet).

Based on the 7 iron you hit, do you know what the comparable loft/lie was across the three, (& compared to your existing 7 iron) it might help your decision

Choose the irons you can hit most consistently in terms of distance and direction. Hitting the ball further with an iron is not necessarily a good thing.

Nowt wrong with Ping. I fancy the I20 and if they turn out to be the ones I go for (loads of contenders) then I'll be off to Ping HQ. It has to be a set of clubs that give straightest shots and tightest dispersion and it really isn't all about distance (despite what TM might tell you)
