Came across this thread showing pictures from when Vassell went for talks with a Turkish Club - Turkish Ankaragücü.

Also, a quick google search of Vassell showed that he once drilled through his own toe to relieve the pressure of swelling. It got infected.

i like vassell as a player, but imagine how mental those fans would be if they signed a really big player... the turks are mad for their footy!
