Just wanting to hear if anyone else on hear has played in it ? On Friday i played in and won my section final , which takes me a 36 hole (home & away)national final away from going to Valle De Lobo for 5 days

I would also like to say that i've played a couple of cracking courses and met some great people to play golf with , so if any of you get a chance in future i would strongly recommend entering.

Me and a mate played for 3 years running in the late 90's and had a great time. We played some nice tracks, met some nice people - and some not so nice - and really enjoyed ourselves. We won a couple of rounds each time before being felled by the inevitable bandit-ridden pair. Although we nearly got accused of it at Magnolia Park. My mate was a genuine 16 handicap and I was off 8. He played the front 9 in about +2 gross and blew the opposition away. He then folded on the back and I held the lead together to win. But they were not happy...

Yes I played in it this year with my golfing buddy, both play off 10 managed to win a couple of away rounds where we had to give shots away.

Got beat by some "useful" 18 handicapers at their club.
