Cracked ping g30 hosel

Hey all,

Looking some advice..

Bought a G30 ls tec from AG second hand yesterday. Was at the range this evening and went to adjust the loft and realised there is a crack in the hosel. Very small, just in the arrow. Tried to take a picture which showed it the whole way through to the other side.

This 100% was not me as I hit about 20 shots, none of which went anywhere near the hosel. I reckon someone cracked it and traded it in during the x2 trade in. Or may be they didn't know it was cracked, but anyway.

Is this something I can send off to Ping? Or should I just return it? Thing is, I really like the driver and shaft that came with it.

Had the same issue on a different ping driver, sent it back via the club pro and ping replaced it free of charge

Yes absolutely send it back, my sf tec developed the same fault when I had it, sent it back to ping via American golf (didn't purchase from there) and they replaced in two days without question.

I had an upgrade shaft also and they just sent off the head no problems

Thanks a lot. That's interesting that its a known issue. I have a different AG beside my work. Will head there tomorrow and see if they will send it back! If not ill go to the further one after work

get used to it pal you will find al sorts of bits and pieces from PING clubs scattered about the course

My only worry is the fact I bought it second hand from AG. Any idea what the warranty on Ping clubs is?

I bought mine second hand originally also. I really wouldn't worry, it is a well known fault and I would think they will replace without issue, I have sent three drivers back to ping (that's why I finally gave up with them but that's a different matter) and all were replaced no problem
