This is probably going to sound dumb, but hey:D

I can get a county card via the golf club, would this enable county card rates(for clubs that offer it) at other clubs only in Shropshire or would clubs outside the county Shropshire charge county card rates on production of the shropshire card?

If the club you want to play at subscribes to the County Card scheme, then they accept them. I think you can see and download a list from the England Golf website.

Haven't checked the links that they other guys have put.

BBO golf has a link on the website with every club that accepts county cards.

You just need to call the clubs that you want to play to actually ask what they charge and what days you can use them, I know we are one of a few that let you use them 7 days a week.

Do check with the club beforehand - for example Royal Porthcawl only accepts county cards from Glamorgan, Gwent & Dyfed
