Costco suing Titleist (Acushnet)

trouble is with these things, products get talked up and the expectation is greater than the actual product in reality.

He was told they are exactly like a Pro V1 at half the price... ! there are plenty of cheaper good performing balls out there, TM TP, Callaway, Srixon, Bridgestone. none of which are the same as the Pro V1.
Not the same, but surely as good as, and in some cases better.

just saying what experience was from someone i know, who has tried them.

same confusion with the Vice ball, lots on here rave about them, ones i'd tried were no better than any other cheap ball i had tried. Like NXT or Ad333

Other balls might feel and play the same as a Pro V but for how long. As someone that can make a golf ball last for 6 rounds or more I find that Pro V's are a lot more durable than some of the other offerings that do not have a urethane cover. For me the Pro V's make economic sense.

You'd think that after being sucessfully sued by Bridgestone for patent infringement by their balls Titleist would have learnt their lesson by now.
