Difficult to say, maybe 60? The really old seniors don't tend to play in competitions though. They have midweek matches which suits everyone

Have to play on Sundays if you want to play in comps?…no wonder the country is going to rack and ruin

It works for us. Some of our comps are on Saturdays (but not many) and often those include lady members too

My eldest daughter is in her 30's. She can drive up with the guys I play with.
Its still quite amazing the mocking and sexist comments she gets on a range, golf show or golf course until she hits the ball.
She is faster and longer than many men, but they ignore that because she doesnt have a willy..or act like one.

At my course the average woman is called Doreen, hits the ball 80 yards and spends the round gossiping.
Would you eldest daughter hold up play? No, do Doreen and Marjorie? Yes

Edward, Cedric and Sydney slow her up as well, but thats ok because they are men?
Slow play is slow play, regardless of what toilet you use. When that is accepted, golf will be the better for it.

I completely agree, just saying at my course we don't have people like your daughter. They are all old washer women. If they were allowed to play the competitions alongside the men it would be carnage

Actually, it doesn’t always. 35 points is better than my hcp at my club as par is 71 and CR is 72.3. Also using 95% scoring and who knows what the slope does.

Scoring 38 points doesn’t always mean you’ve bettered your handicap? How does that work then?

You could have a 20 for zero points on a hole but then 2 3 pointers to make up for it. If it's a stableford round though 36 means you shot your handicap, 38 better than
