Cobra S2 Irons

Evening all,
Iv been asked to post this by my younger brother.....

Hes playing off 16 and is thinking of spending his hard earned on a set of these.....He's pretty set on buying them but just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with them.
There are no cobra fitters anywhere near us so he's going for off the shelf.
He can buy them new here in Ireland for 395€

No personal experience with them but a good mate of mine, (plays off 12), has had them for about a year and loves 'em.
Bit chunky looking for my tastes, but each to their own. Playing off 16 I reckon they'd suit him ok.

Would he not be better off with a set of Wilson Di7's? They are cheap as chips second hand and the Di9's are reasonable too.

I love my FP's, great forgiveness and with control, something forgiving clubs these days leave out, I would have thought the S2's are simlar to the FP's.

I tried the DI9's when I bought the FP's and found the DI0's felt a little flat for feel and had little control.

He had the Di9's guys and didnt like them......But ill pass on the info anyway and let him know.
