Regularly appears on best clubs of all time lists but I just didn't get on with the

Taylor made v steel 3 wood.

Loved the look but couldn't hit it well at all. Enjoyed hitting my nephew's v steel 5 wood but when I got my own we didn't see eye to eye.

What's yours?

Ping G5 driver went miles but usually in the wrong direction and more often than not it was righhhhhttt!

So many different 3 woods... Tried 6-10 different ones and couldn't get on with any of them

Also the SLDR driver, tried it numerous times last year and the whole loft up campaign didn't work for me at all

Breighmet, good course, good layout but a bit clicky.

Oh...., hang on, wrong end of the bloody stick again.:o

Must read more than title, must read more than......

Got one at the moment, just invested in a couple of Callaway X2 Hot Pro hybrids for a trial and while the 18 degree is an absolute beast the 16 degree seems harder to hit than some of my 1 irons. I've managed to hit some nice ones with it but I really can't get my head around the difference half and inch and two degrees less makes!!
I'm putting it down to it being off the shelf shafts to preserve sanity at the moment.

Also have a Wilson Invex Driver and 3 Wood that I've never been able to hit higher than my waist and those things were designed by NASA.

Scotty Cameron Laguna 2. Thing of beauty but my putting is not good enough. Now waiting to be sold whilst i play with a big ugly, but more consistent putter.

Titleist 910 d2. Stiff Diamana Kaili Shaft. Cost £270. Outcome- Garbage -Gutted :(

Everyone was raving about them at the time, a little like the 915 now.
I adjusted the hell out of it and yet all it wanted to do was go low and left.

As a kid I always wanted a Ping putter. First proper job I was down the pro shop and became the proud owner of a lovely bronze Anser.

Could never putt with it. I persevered but eventually traded it in for a beautiful black Tad Moore TM-1 and then won my first comp!

Calaway xhot 3wood. Was an absolute beast on the range when testing but I just haven't got on with it at all on the course. Inconsistent distance and loves a big hook.

Still persevering as can't afford to replace it.

Cleveland Classic XL driver. One of the best looking clubs I've ever bought and I so wanted to do well with it but I just couldn't get on with it. It is currently sitting in the shed.
