Anybody here used the Club2000 software for Junior Competitions where there are both boys and girls taking part ?

Just wondered how it handles this as we haven't seen a way to do it ... yet ;)

Anyone any experience of this package for this specific use ?

Thanks

It's a few years since we used to do this so the software may have moved on but what's important is the handicap adjustment at the end of the day and this method does arrive at the right numbers.....

Assuming more boys than girls (vice versa if not) then set comp up on the men's system and set the girls up as visiting players like you would in an open, effectively treating the Ladies system as an away club and adjusting handicap for different SSS as necessary.

Finish the comp then put the girls scores in the Ladies system as away scores. From memory you may have to fudge the club selection as it may not let you enter an away score from the home club. It's not elegant but it works. It may be worth ringing the support line though as there may be a better way nowadays. They are usually very helpful and do know this crappy software well. :)
