Be prepared for a whole host of massive fibs, otherwise known as forum distances.

I'll be honest,

PW - 100yds
10-15 gaps going up to around 180yds for a 3w (the gaps reduce as I move up the bag)
I hit a drive 220yds last night but that was my country best, up the middle etc. Normally I am around the 200yd mark.

Be prepared for some interesting numbers

Do you carry a good number of wedges or have to hit a lot of half, 3/4 shots with a PW? 130yds for a pw is a big old whack but leaves a lot of distance inbetween before you reach the pin.
(same question for all big hitters)

It's all relative to conditions for me. Ball is travelling further just now with the weather being better, particularly mid irons more than my short ones.

I carry a 51, 54 & 58.

51 goes 120-125, and anything lower I usually use either a 1/2 or 3/4 SW.

V much improving from 100 yards and in but not yet a strength of my game.

D: 220-250 (can roll out loads more if its not plugged)
5W: 200 (fairly rarely and normally no better than my 7 wood)
7W: 180-190
9W: 165 (great height for stopping on greens)
4i: Never hit full on, for hitting out of trees
6i: 160
7i: 150-160
8i: 140
9i: 130
PW: 120
52°: 100-110
56°: 85
60 : 60ish

All carry distances, roll varies greatly on time of year.

Re these 'carry' distances, or total distance including run out?
I've just had a bag session for carry and it's made quite a difference to my shot selection.

Never done one of these before so here goes:
My carry distances are are as follows.

Sand wedge 100
U (gap wedge) 110
P Wedge 125
9 Iron 135
8 Iron 150
7 Iron 160
6 Iron 165 (Insert missing hence the small gap).
5 Iron 185

These clubs weren't measured on the bag test, so are approx total distances and not carry.

G20 Hybrid 200
5 Wood 210
3 Wood up to 230
Driver Not sure but about 240

It doesn't matter how far you hit each club, the important thing is to choose the right club for the distance you want to go. One day it might be a 9, same distance on a different day it might be a 6.
