Christmas Decorations

Rather depends how you view Advent...
But are they Advent decorations or Christmas decorations?

Edit: Just googled it. Very interesting. You learn something every day:-

[TABLE="class: infobox vevent, width: 100%"]
[TR]
[TH]Significance[/TH]
[TD="class: summary"]Preparation for the commemoration of the birth of Jesus[/TD]
[/TR]
[/TABLE]

Practices associated with Advent include keeping an Advent calendar, lighting an Advent wreath, praying an Advent daily devotional,[SUP][5][/SUP]lighting a Christingle,[SUP][6][/SUP] as well as other ways of preparing for Christmas, such as setting up Christmas decorations,[SUP][7][/SUP][SUP][8][/SUP][SUP][9][/SUP] a custom that is sometimes done liturgically, through a hanging of the greens ceremony.[SUP][5][/SUP][SUP][10]

Advent this year begins on December 3 (closest Sunday to November 30, St Andrew's Day), so decorations should go up then.[/SUP]

Yup - that's what Advent is all about, the days of preparation and looking forward to Christmas.
