My wife is cabin crew and has been working at weekends for the last few weeks so I've been able to get a round in. This weekend she's home though so the best I'll get is a bucket of balls at the range.
All I want to do is hit a few balls out of a rusty old shed yet why do all the ranges around here cost a fortune? My range in when I lived in Cornwall cost £1 a bucket of balls and up here I'm paying £3.50 for a tiny number of balls which considering I like to get a couple of buckets, makes it not the cheapest thing in the world for what is basically hitting balls into a field.
Are there any hidden cheapies? Alternatively does anyone have a plot of land with a rusty shed and a mat that I can hit off? I have a park near me but don't like to hit anything more than a 7 iron, plus I have to walk 150 yards every 7 or 8 balls!
