Absolutely over the moon as my 2nd round 74 has taken the Club Championship today.

Was 4 behind after yesterday and we were playing in the last group together. I hunted him down bit by bit and took him with a snakey 5 footer for birdie on the last , you beauty get in there

Played very steady today with 6 bogies and 4 birdies and nice even splits of 37/37. Felt very calm before the start and didn't feel worried at all going round , I was in a lovely relaxed mood and feeling very confident all the way round.

To cap it off EaseNGrace took home the Captains salver for the best nett score on the 2nd day. Well done Aaron , the first of many I hope

Well done. I'm guessing thats the proper championship (Scratch). Brilliant shooting as that is THE one to win in any club. I think the handicap prize is all I'll ever aim for these days and to be honest I'll be grateful to make the cut after Saturday and get to play the final round.
