Gene Hackman along with his wife and dog found dead in their home. No foul play apparently.
Such a good actor, played so many memorable roles.

Gene Hackman was a tremendous actor. Just watch him in Superman and he acts everyone else off the screen throughout. Also the coach in the Replacements where he admitted he just had fun being a coach.

My head went straight to suicide...until I saw their dog passed too. I know it's weird that would make a difference but, as a dog lover, it 100% would. Sad.

Yes, once the announcement was made that there was "no foul play" that was my thought too. Difficult to imagine what else could have led to the deaths of two people and a dog....? Tragic, whatever it was.

Very sad news, another great actor leaves us, and of course his wife and pet dog.
Just seen on the news that there was no carbon monoxide or gas poisoning at the property.

They were all found in different rooms and had been dead for a while. 2 other dogs were still alive. All very odd.

Superb actor. No need to be a pretty boy to make a presence. Demanded one's attention by his acting prowess alone. Simply wonderful.

Chris Hughes has died ,if you were an eggheads fan then you will know who he was. 77 years young .
Years and years since I’ve seen Eggheads but Chris seemed to have this effortless knowledge on pretty much every subject.
