Brooklyn Nine Nine is probably my favourite ever comedy series and Capt Holt is a character of genius. For anyone who hasn't seen the show, the nearest equivalent would be Capt Mainwaring, although the differences for devotees are many. Wonderful timing, deadpan delivery. At 61, too young.

Also saw today that Derek Draper, husband of Kate Garraway, had passed away. Almost a 4 year battle since contracting Covid. Sad.

You old softy . I read a piece about him how he started as a singer, struggled, then started singing whilst masked (honestly), became succesful, removed the mask, struggled again. Became an actor . It was a very soothing, smooth voice.

This is just so sad. Loved watching him play. As an ex-fullback I was in awe of his skills… had the pleasure of seeing him live on a number of occasions home and away... RIP JPR

One of about 5 brilliant Welsh players of that era.
Amazingly he continued to play club rugby into his early 50's
