Cart Bag

Got to bump this thread having just taken delivery of the Oakley Rider cart bag (black version)

So far so good, despite being noticeably slimmer its swallowed all the gear from the old cart bag and still looks empty, build quality is great (they've spent more time & money just on the strap release mechanism than some do on the whole bag)

11 slots suit me down to the ground as I carry 11 clubs but if you have more there's still room to get more in

Roll on the weekend so I can try it out properly... but happy boy at the moment :)

I currently have a Powarkaddy bag and its getting near the end of its life. I would prefer the next to be waterproof and have an external putter slot.
I have the Powakaddy pvc premium cart bag cost £120, and the external putter slot has worn away at the entrance, after only 18 months.
Powakaddy do not do repairs and won't replace it as it's outwith the 12 months warranty. Not great after sales service IMO.

You could always try presenting them with a claim under the 2 year guarantee offered under EU directive 1999/44/EC (plenty of sites where you can get the relevant info to send them) they may/may not change their position but for £120 its worth 10 minutes of your time to find out

I just got a reply from Powakaddy saying my claim should be made to the retailer [ my local pro] and quoting chapter and verse of their policy . So no joy , a very bad attitude by Powakaddy.
Tthanks any way
