Cart bag rain covers?

I noticed that my Mizuno cart bag with fitted rain-hood did a fair imitation of sponge in the rain so I bought an aerosol of that siliconey stuff these hill-clambering types spray on their togs to keep out the Summer weather. Gave the bag a good going over (no wife-beating jokes, please) let it dry, did it again and blow me down, the rain beads up & runs off a la proverbial duck's wotsit.

I never thought of them sprays, I might give them ago.

My Izzo bag comes with one attached in it's very own liitle pocket at the bottom of the bag.

Got the same bag, but I don't think I'll ever use the rain cover...don't want to even think about folding it up small enough to fit back in that little pocket!!
I find the standard rain hood plenty enough unless it's absolutely lashing down. And then I doubt if I would be out on the course anyway...

Just my thoughts on the 118golf. I've never used them but how did it take you 7 times to realise they're crap. 1 mistake you can take, 2 mistakes is very poor, 3 mistake's is taking the pee, using them again is being stupid.

Piece of cake to get it back in. Even if all you do is fold the flaps in and then roll it towards the pocket. It would only be dificult if you carry a lot of balls! By that I mean 20 plus.
